Chelow Kabab Recipe

Ingredients

  • 400g Minced beef (Topside)

  • 100g Beef fat (suet)

  • 1 Red onion, grated

  • 1 tsp Turmeric

  • 1 tsp Sumac

  • ¼ tsp Saffron

  • 1 tbsp Water (to dissolve the saffron)

  • ½ tsp Black pepper

  • 1½ tsp Salt


Preparation Steps

  1. Mix: Combine all the ingredients thoroughly in a bowl until the mixture is well-incorporated and smooth.

  2. Shape: Form the mixture into small cylinders (fingers) or your desired shape.

  3. Grill: Grill the kababs on a barbecue or in the oven until they are fully cooked and have turned a beautiful golden brown.
